REQUIRES:

Yarn: 2 skeins Alpine Meadow Moonbeams Sport or Worsted Weight Yarn

OR 1 skein Alpine Meadow Moonbeams Lace Yarn

Pictured in: (Left to right) Storm Clouds Worsted, Golden Aspens Lace, Amethyst Sport

Needles: US-sz. 10 for Sport or Lace, US Size 13 for Worsted

Gauge: In stockinette stitch 15 st. = 4 in. for Sport, 12 st. = 4 in. for Worsted or 16 st. = 4 in. for Lace. Just this once, gauge is not critical

Finished size: approx. 4 in. x 60 in. for Sport, 7 in. x 60 in. for Worsted, 5.25 in. x 54 in. for Lace

ABBREVIATIONS:

YO: Yarn over needle from front to back

K2tog: Knit 2 Stitches Together as one

SSK: Slip 1 stitch knit-wise, slip a second stitch knit-wise. Replace these 2 stitches on left needle and knit together through back loops.

Slip 1- K2tog – PSSO: Slip 1 stitch, knit 2 stitches together as if they were 1, then pass the slipped stitch over the knit 2 together stitch.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Cast on 21 stitches. Knit 2 rows.

Rows 1 & 3: (wrong side) Knit

Row 2: K3, *K2tog, YO, K3, YO, SSK, K1. Repeat from *. End K2.

Row 4: K5, *YO, Slip 1- K2tog - PSSO, YO, K5. Rep from *

Work in pattern until piece measures 54 inchesor desired length. Knit 2 rows. Bind off.

Steam lightly to block. Blocking is optional but it enhances the lace and is highly recommended.
