They have a small lip milled into the rear edge of the paddle to protect the card clothing from becoming worn and the handles have been precisely tenoned into the paddles for superior strength. Carding cloth: With 208 points per square inch, Schacht cotton cards are excellent for cotton and other short fibers with curved backs. Carder handle cross-section; 1-1/16" x 3/4"Overall Dimensions: 10 1/2 in. x 4 in. Overall handle length 5 3/4 inches. Approx. 1 1/2 lb. per pair.
