American Maid 6 to 10 Wash Cloths Weaving Kit. Looking for a quick project to make for gifts or to give yourself a little indulgence? How about everything you need to make ten soft washcloths? We have included instructions to make these wash cloths on either a rigid heddle loom or a 4-shaft loom. The wash cloths are made with natural white as the warp, and all five colors for the weft. The finished sizes of the washcloths are approximately 10 inches x 10 inches. This kit comes with all the yarn you will need to make 10 wash cloths.
This project uses unmercerized 3/2 Cotton yarn, sett at 8 epi. The instructions call for a 4-shaft or rigid heddle loom with at least 15 inch weaving width, one pickup stick (if you have a rigid heddle loom), and the contents of the kit.
Each mini cone of 3/2 in the kit contains approximately 150 yards of yarn, the large cone of 3/2 Natural White contains approximately 630 yards and the mini cone of 6/2 contains approximately 300 yards in case you want to design your own project.
Difficulty level is Beginner to Intermediate. This is a two to four harness kit.(Makes 10 wash cloths if weaving on a rigid heddle loom or 6 wash cloths if weaving on a 4 shaft loom)
