Leclerc MIRA II LOOM – 36 in, 45 in or 60 inch Weaving Widths Available. The Leclerc Mira II loom is a popular choice for production weavers, rug weavers and teaching studios. It comes with a shed regulator that allows the weaver to easily switch from balanced to unbalanced weaves. It gives a nice large, clean shed even under tight tension.
A counter-balanced 4 shaft loom, with a sturdy, rigid frame, that makes it especially useful for teaching, commercial production studio or rug weaving. You can speed-up the production by adding the flying shuttle beater.
The new Mira II model looms incorporate Leclerc's exclusive Shed Regulator. This unique mechanism provides a quick simple switch from balanced to unbalanced weaves with a minimum of adjustment. This provides the same versatility as a Jack Loom but with the advantage of full control over top and bottom Shed openings offered by the Counterbalance design. The Counterbalance Shed is wide and clean on every pick over the full range of 4 Shaft weaves, including the higher tension Rug designs.
Solidly constructed out of maple, this loom has a friction brake, and easily removeable cloth and breast beams. All metal parts are plated and the top rollers are adjustable in height. A sectional warp beam can be installed at any time.
