Jensen Whorls Information
Wheels come standard with Whorls 1-3 but sometimes they are
ordered with a different configuration so it is best to measure the outside
diameter to be sure which whorls you have. Whorls # 4 and # 5 come with the
high speed kit. Whorl #6 is super high speed for scotch tension only. Whorls were made by Jerry Jensen.
Whorl # 0 – Extra Slow – Approx. 4” diameter
Whorl # 1 – Approx. 3 1/8” diameter – works in scotch
tension or double drive with regular or high-speed bobbins
Whorl # 2 – Approx. 2 ¾” diameter - works in scotch tension
or double drive with regular or high-speed bobbins
Whorl # 3 – Approx. 2 ½” diameter - works in scotch tension
with regular or in double drive it requires high speed bobbins
Whorl # 4 -
Approx. 2” diameter - works in
scotch tension with regular or in double drive it requires high speed bobbins
Whorl # 5 -
Approx. 1 ¾” diameter - works in
scotch tension with regular or in double drive it requires high speed bobbins
