IN STOCK at Bountiful Majacraft's Lace Kit is designed for the delicacy and enjoyment of fine fiber spinning. This kit is designed to be used either on a high speed or a standard head. It will fit any Majacraft wheel. The lace kit includes two hand turned bobbins and a special matching E-System flyer with hard wearing ceramic inserts plus a fast whorl. The ceramic has a very low friction coefficient so the spun yarn glides effortlessly through the guides. The fast whorl will help you spin finer yarns with ease.
The small diameter wooden bobbins have large cores and a reduced brake groove for fine tension control. The flyer is closely matched to the bobbins. The bobbins have replaceable bushings. No fiber is included and the lace item in the photo is just for illustration only...not included. Kit includes 1 Lace E-System Flyer, 2 Lace Bobbins and 1 Fast Whorl.

Much of our innovation is in our flyers. Ceramic guides in our lace, fine and Wild Flyers are super hard wearing and the low friction coefficient makes the yarn slide effortlessly. We use hard wearing stainless steel yarn guides and fibre glass flyer arms. The lightweight and scratch resistant flyer arms are easier to spin with than ever before. All of our flyers are balanced by hand to ensure they provide smooth and vibration free operation.
